Challenge day 6

Okay day 6 is complete! Pretty satisfied with this one! The photograph does not do this painting justice. For some reason my camera doesn't want to pick up the subtle tones in the highlights on his face and legs.
I was inspired by the ideas of toning down photographs and brightening the whites to make it somewhat abstract. Yet, to avoid a completely abstract painting, I thought more about a horse dancing in the dark with only a touch of natural light to reveal his movements. Its as if he is dancing in the moonlight coming in from a high window!
